Shabbat Shalom!
Shabbat Greetings: https://youtu.be/JlAcxy2mA-M
Torah Question of the Week: Do you need to know why a rule is in place to be willing to follow it? Does it matter who or what entity has set it forth? Do the circumstances affect your perception of whether it is imperative to follow it? In this week’s Torah portion, we are told we must obey God’s chukim, decrees that are commandments with no known rationale, other than God saying, “because I said so.” Are you willing to take a rule or law at face value? Why or why not?
Please join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. Both are multi-access – in person and on Zoom. Details are in your Shabbat Preview.
Shabbat Shalom!
