Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: Have you ever been ill for an extended period of time and not been able to go out? What did you do when you were better? Did you jump right back into your normal routine or did you give yourself time to adjust back to it? In this week’s Torah portion, a m’tzora (someone who had been stricken with tzara’at) has to go through a number of rituals to be ready to re-enter society. How does your method of getting back to normal help you after an illness? Does it help those around you adjust to your return, too?

Please join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night’s service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by presentation and discussion on antisemitism led by our own Lisa Harris Glass. The presentation and Oneg are co-sponsored by the Springfield Unity Project. Saturday morning is Shabbat Mishpacha at 10:00 a.m. I hope to see you at one or the other or both! Our services are multi-access – in person and on Zoom. Details are in your Shabbat Preview. Shabbat Shalom!
