Torah Question of the Week: When you see beautiful materials like gold and silver, and fancy ornaments and decorations, do they help you focus or are they a distraction? In this week’s Torah portion, we learn about the creation of the Mishkan and the amount of gold and silver used for it. It was elaborately decorated and beautifully adorned, too. How can you maintain your focus if you are in an environment where something is distracting you?
