Friday night’s Shabbat service was a wonderful celebration of the value of diverse communities. Many thanks to the many people who led Friday’s JDAIM Shabbat service: Linda Bloom, Tommy Fresco, Matthew Goldstein, Cara Harms, Andrea Hirschfeld, Michelle Manders, Steve Mauer, Mark Mishell, and Ben Rosenbach. And a special shout-out to Rabbi Simon Rosenbach for his engaging D’Var Torah!
On Saturday, we had Shabbat Mishpacha, so we did not have our usual text study. Instead, we considered the question of why Aaron and his sons needed to wear bells on their clothing. What do you think?
