On Saturday, we discussed the poles that would carry the Aron haEdut – the Ark of the Covenant – and how the poles were required to remain in the rings into which they had been inserted by Moses. We wondered why the Torah stipulated that they both remain in the rings and not be removed from the rings? And why did they need to stay in the rings in the first place? What do you think?
