Torah Question of the Week:
Do you find it easy or difficult to pay attention to details? How closely do you do so? In this week’s portion, our Torah moves from the grand vision of the Ten Commandments to the specific ways in which those commandments translate into laws of ethical and social behavior. There are many such details – 53 in this portion alone. Does it help you to have the big picture before you look at the details? Why or why not?
