Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: When you are at a movie, do you watch the credits to the end? Do you take note of how many people worked on it? At the beginning of this week’s Torah portion, we read the names of Jacob’s sons. We are not told the names of their family members, but we are told they totaled 70 people. How important is it to you to know the names of people involved in an activity, such as a sports team, a movie, or a theatre production versus just the leaders? Does the number of people participating affect your perception of it?

Please join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. Both are multi-access – in person and on Zoom. Details are in your Shabbat Preview. Many thanks to the friends of Margie Netkin, who are sponsoring tonight’s Oneg in memory of her mother, Zita Hirsh, z’’l.

Shabbat Shalom!
