Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: Have you ever heard a prediction that was so unbelievable that it made you laugh? What was it?  In this week’s Torah portion, a visiting stranger (thought to be an angel in disguise) tells Abraham that Sarah is going to have a child when the traveler returns in a year. Sarah laughs to herself and is then chastised for not believing in God’s power to make this happen. When have you doubted that something could happen? Were you accurate or did the prediction come to be?

Please join us for Shabbat Services this week as we celebrate our Shorashim students! At Shabbat Alive Services on Friday night at 6:30 p.m., we will have our Siddur Presentation and Naming Ceremony for our 3rd and 4th graders. Don’t miss it! On Saturday morning, we have our usual Shabbat morning services at 9:30 a.m. All are multi-access – both in person and on Zoom. Details are in your Shabbat Preview. Shabbat Shalom!
