Torah Question of the Week: What makes something good? How do you decide whether something you have done is good or not? In this week’s Torah portion, in the first story of creation, God looks at God’s work and sees that it is good. We don’t know why God thinks they are good, though. What methods do you use to evaluate it?
Please join us for Shabbat Services this week as we begin anew our cycle of Torah study! On Friday night, services are at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning, they are at 9:30 a.m. All of our services are multi-access – both in person and on Zoom. Details are in your Shabbat Preview.
It may seem strange to be celebrating Shabbat with everything going on in Israel, but Shabbat is exactly what we must celebrate. Our friends and family members in Israel cannot, so we must do this for them. Come in person, come online, come to TBAY, come to another shul, but let’s make this Shabbat count for us all. Shabbat Shalom!
