Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: What scares you and why? When do you let this stop you from doing what you want and need to do? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses tells the Israelites that when they are afraid of their enemies and the larger nations, they will lose hope and turn to other Gods and that as a result, God will turn away from them. What do you need to move past your fears so that you do not forget what is most important to you?

This Shabbat is Minyanaire Shabbat! Over the course of the year, TBAY is proud to offer an opportunity to pray in a minyan each and every day. On Minyanaire Shabbat, we honor and thank all those who form the backbone of our daily minyan and Shabbat services. This Shabbat we are honoring FIFTY-THREE members of our community who have attended at least 54 services in the past two years!! If you have ever needed a minyan to say Kaddish, or if a friend or family member has, we hope you will come to say thank you to the members of our community who make this possible. Services are on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. and many sections will be led by our wonderful Minyanaires. Come enjoy the goodies at the Oneg Friday night and our kiddush luncheon on Saturday. Be sure to register to come in person at https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat so we have enough food! Both services are multi-access – in person and on Zoom. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

Shabbat Shalom!
