Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: How do you divide up labor in your home? Do different people have defined responsibilities or do you share them all? In this week’s Torah portion, we learn about the duties of the Levites with regard to the Ohel Mo’ed, the Tent of Meeting. Each clan has very specific instructions and they do not overlap with one another. What is the value of having such clear definitions? Do you have them? If so, do they help you have greater shalom bayit, peace in the home?

This weekend we celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of Jeremy Coppleson as he helps lead our services and is called to the Torah for the first time. Tonight’s Shabbat Alive service is at 6:30 p.m. and tomorrow’s Shabbat Morning service begins at 9:30 a.m. Both services are multi-access: in person and on Zoom.  To register to come in person, please go to https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

Shabbat Shalom!
