On Saturday, we discussed Jacob’s statement that Joseph’s sons Ephraim and Menashe would be treated like Jacob’s sons, not Joseph’s, but that other sons of Joseph’s would not. We thought about Jacob’s reason for the statement and what the impact of this decision was for Joseph, his children, his brothers, and future generations. What do you think?
