Shabbat Shalom and Happy (secular) New Year!

Shabbat Greetings: https://youtu.be/iMhhL4JNW2w

Torah Question of the Week: How do you want people to talk and feel about you after you have died? In this week’s Torah portion, Judah tells Joseph about his own death and the devastating effect it had on his father Jacob. Some people see the exercise of writing their own obituary as an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate their lives… and to present themselves as they hope others will remember them. Have you gone through this exercise?  Does it appeal to you? Why or why not?

Tonight’s Kabbalat Shabbat service is at 8:00 p.m. and tomorrow morning’s service is at 9:30 a.m. Both services are multi-access: in person and on Zoom.  To register to come in person, please go to https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

Shabbat Shalom!
