On Saturday, we discussed the commandment not to take bribes and what the impact of a bribe is on the people and on the judges. Is the prohibition only for Jewish judges? Or is it for the people, as well, so that they will not even offer bribes? What is the impact of the prohibition on the legal structure and on the society as a whole? What do you think?
