Shabbat Shalom: Korach

Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Greetings:

Torah Question of the Week: Have you ever wanted to rebel against something you thought was unfair? Have you followed someone doing that? What was the result? In this week’s portion, Korach rebels against Moses and Aaron because Korach feels they have unfairly and inappropriately set themselves above the Israelite people. Korach and his followers are determined by God to be in the wrong and they are punished for their rebellion. How do you determine whether a rebellion is justified? What consequences are you willing to risk?

Shabbat Alive services are at 6:30 p.m. tonight. Tomorrow morning, we begin our summer hours for Shabbat morning, so services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Both services are multi-access: in person and on Zoom.  To register to come in person, please go to https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

Shabbat Shalom!
