Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Greetings:

Torah Question of the Week: Do you ever feel that sometimes a person is not treated fairly – either they get away with something because they are wealthy or they are assumed guilty because they are poor? In this week’s portion, we are told that we must judge situations and people fairly: we must neither favor the poor nor show deference to the rich. Where do you fall into this trap and what can you do to stop this from happening in your own life and in the world around us?

Shabbat Alive services are at 6:30 p.m. tonight. We will be celebrating our Shorashim teachers and students. Shabbat morning services will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m, when we will celebrate the Auf Ruf and upcoming marriage of Lucas Biebelberg and Lauren Levy. Both services are multi-access: in person and on Zoom.  To register to come in person, please go to https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat. Please note that for this week and next week, masks will be required at in-person Shabbat services. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

Shabbat Shalom!
