Shabbat Shalom! Mazal Tov to Yve Lieberman and her family on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah this weekend.
Shabbat Greetings:
Torah Question of the Week: When you do something wrong, do you always know it? What happens if it affected other people, or led them to do something wrong, too? In this week’s portion, the Torah recognizes that sometimes someone violates a commandment inadvertently. When the person realizes it – or it is pointed out to them – they must bring a sacrifice. The sacrifice varies according to the role the person plays. A leader bears responsibility for others inadvertently sinning and so has a different sacrifice. How do you admit your wrongdoing to yourself and others?
Kabbalat Shabbat services are at 8:00 p.m. tonight and Shabbat morning services will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Both are on Zoom because of Yve’s Bat MItzvah. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.
Shabbat Shalom!
