Shabbat Shalom! Moadim L’Simcha!

Shabbat Greetings:

Torah Question of the Week: If you could invite anyone to dine with you, who would it be? Why would you want to have them? It is Sukkot and one tradition is to invite Ushpizim, seven symbolic guests, to visit the sukkah. A different guest is invited for each night: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron and David. Each represents a different value. Which of these would you most want to have visit your sukkah and what would you ask them?

We are delighted to celebrate the B’nei Mitzvah of Dylan and Jackson Munshine and also of Spencer Kornspan this week! Our Shabbat evening services are at 8:00 p.m. tonight and will only be on Zoom this week. Shabbat morning services and Dylan and Jackson’s Bar Mitzvah will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., also on Zoom. Our Sunday minyan will remain at 9:00, both in-person and on Zoom, and Spencer’s Bar Mitzvah will be at 10:30 and viewable via livestream. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.

I hope we will see you this Shabbat! Shabbat Shalom! Moadim L’Simcha!
