Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Greetings:

Torah Question of the Week: What do you do when you believe someone has done something wrong? Do you make assumptions or make a decision based on past knowledge – or do you take the trouble to find out for certain in this particular instance? In this week’s portions, we learn that when someone is accused of worshipping other gods (or the sun and the moon), a thorough investigation must be mounted. One person’s word or accusation is not sufficient. How do you get to the truth when you need to make a decision about someone’s actions? (The importance of this question is particularly applicable to parents, by the way!)

Our regular Shabbat services are at 8:00 tonight and are available both on Zoom and online. To come in person, you must register at To come online, just use the Zoom link in the Shabbat Preview. Shabbat morning services will be tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. (our summer schedule) and currently remain only online. I hope we will see you at one or the other or both!

Shabbat Shalom!
