Shabbat Greetings:
Torah Question of the Week: Which is a more powerful motivation for you, the carrot or the stick? In this week’s Torah portion, we learn of the many blessings we will experience if we follow God’s laws and the many curses that will befall us if we do not. Parents often must face the challenge of knowing when to promise a reward and when to threaten a punishment. In what circumstances is one more effective than the other?
