On Shabbat morning, we discussed how Moses performed the initiation of Aaron and his sons in front of the entire Israelite community. What was Moses’ purpose in saying that this was God’s commandment?
What was God’s purpose in assembling the entire community of Israel? In Parashat Korach in a few weeks, there is a rebellion. Is there a way this could have been avoided with this ceremony? What do you think? You can find the Source Sheet here.
