Shabbat Shalom: Vayak’heil-P’kudei – Shabbat HaChodesh

Shabbat Shalom!

Mazal Tov to Amanda Scott and her family on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah and to Ben Blank and his family on the occasion of his Bar Mitzvah!

Shabbat Greetings:

Torah Question of the Week: What is a signal for you to know it is time to move on? Sometimes, we have reached a point where staying put is not the right choice. But how do we know? In P’kudei, the second of this week’s portions, we learn that the Israelites had the advantage of God’s “Cloud of Glory” residing in the Mishkan as their signal to stay and it’s lifting as their signal to leave. Can you think of something that might help you know?

Kabbalat Shabbat will be tonight at 8:00 p.m. and Amanda and Ben will be leading most of the service. Shabbat morning services will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Amanda’s Bat Mitzvah will be a Mincha/Ma’ariv/Havdalah service at 5:00 and Ben’s Bar Mitzvah will be at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning as we celebrate Rosh Chodesh. I hope we will see you many times this weekend!

Shabbat Shalom!
