Shabbat Greetings:
Torah Question of the Week: Do you give constructive criticism or rebukes to your children or other young people you teach or support? In this week’s Torah portion, Jacob blesses his sons (and his grandsons Ephraim and Manasseh), but Joseph rebukes some of them, saying that their actions will have consequences for their future and the future of their families, yet giving no possibility for redemption. What impact do you think this has on future behavior? Would another approach have been better?
