Wondering what we discussed this past Shabbat? Here is a link to Friday’s D’var Torah on Vayeishev: How We Treat Strangers. On Shabbat morning, we discussed the text of Jacob mourning Joseph: why he could not be comforted, whether he felt responsible for sending Joseph after his brothers and whether it is Isaac crying for Jacob or Jacob crying for Joseph.
