Shabbat Greetings:
Torah Question of the Week: Does one bad apple spoil the barrel or does one bad apple not spoil the bunch? In this week’s portion, Abraham argues with God to spare the people of Sodom and Gemorrah if he can find fifty innocent people among the wicked there, eventually getting God to agree to save the cities if they can find ten good people. Where do you think that threshold should be? How many rotten apples actually do spoil the barrel – and how many good ones make it worth saving?
I hope we will see you at Shabbat Alive! services tonight (6:30 p.m.) or Shabbat morning services tomorrow (9:30 a.m.) or both! Shabbat Shalom!
