Shabbat and Sukkot Greetings:
Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sukkot Sameach! Have you ever been backpacking, where you carried your tent and all your provisions on your back? Did it feel burdensome or freeing? This Shabbat starts the holiday of Sukkot, during which we remember our wanderings in the desert for forty years. We don’t always think of the wandering as a good thing, but Sukkot is also known as z’man simchateinu – the time of our rejoicing! So, which is it for you? Do you like wandering and setting up camp?
Shabbat Alive! Services are at 6:30 p.m. tonight and Shabbat and Sukkot Services are tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. The Zoom links were sent in our Shabbat Preview. Hope to see you there!
