Shabbat Greetings!
Question of the Week: Have you ever been presented with a decision that you thought was unfair? Imagine everyone in your class was given a free pass on the homework but you. What would you do? In this week’s portion, the daughters of Tz’lofechad ask to receive his inheritance, claiming it was not fair that it should be lost because he had no sons. God agrees and sets forth a very progressive system of property inheritance for that time period. The action of these daughters was an act of real bravery. Have you ever stood up in such a way for yourself or another person?
